I started watching Almost Human on demand for free. Just this past week, all new episodes and even the earlier free ones are now pay-per-view. Does anyone know why this is happening? I didn't change my plan.
I will admit that I'm a novice in the on-demand world and I'm thinking that I'm just not looking in the right place for the free play option. Can someone help me figure this out? I'm hooked on the show, but I refuse to pay for it. I want to watch it on FIOS. I don't want to be forced to watch it on my little iPhone using Fox's mobile app for free. Please help.

I found the answer.
If I choose "search" through the On Demand menu, the shows come up as PPV. If I go the slower method, by choosing the program from the menu (TV Shows, By Network, D-H, Fox, Almost Human, Episode #), the shows will play for free.
It would be a lot easier if I could do a search, but oh well. That's Verizon for ya. It's not the first "feature" I've found that doesn't make sense.
Thanks for the help!
On Demand is not free. The cost is built into the package price. Verizon has to pay the content provider to provide their shows via On Demand. Sometimes it's part of the package; sometimes it's pay per view. But the viewer will always pay.
I get that it's part of the package and not really free. I am confused as to why I was able to watch the program for "free" last week, but now I have to pay additional costs to watch the same show, and new shows. I realy just want to know if there's a way I can watch Almost Human for "free" on FIOS.

I don't have a good answer for that. More confusing is that I just checked my VOD and the first 5 episodes are available for free. So it could be a regional issue.
You might try the "Fix FiOS TV Issues" in Menu > Customer Support. If that doesn't help contact customer support and ask them.
Thanks for the info. I have someplace to start. Happy Holidays!

I already pay a lot for cable services, I feel we should not have to pay for those episodes of these series that are on the channels I already get.
I wholeheartedly agree mykan.
