FIOS TV One VMS4100 DVR Fan Noise

Howdy - I just installed my new TV One STB's and everything works great.  As others have posted I oddly miss the clock on the face of the main DVR box but I guess everyone walks around with clocks on their phones anyways!

The only minor annoyance is that the VMS4100 DVR box has a very loud fan noise.  I doubt there's much that can be done, and it's cranking even when in standby mode.  

Anyone else noticing that, and if so any ideas?  I'd say the intake vents will need frequent dusting and the fan(s) inside will get gunked up over time with the volume of air they're moving all the time.

The unit, just installed a couple days ago… is so loud, I have to listen to tv with higher volume to drown it out. 
unacceptable.

is there no fix?
