I think it is ridiculous that we can't pause, stop ff, rew on FIOS VOD. It is a real pain when watching a show, if you need pause for something, that you need to completley start over again! This is a real weakness that should be changed IMO. Comcast allowed you to pause,, etc.....
The fault is with the provider (ABC and NBC). They require no FF so you can't skip their commercials and the implementation disables all the functions. VOD movies and shows not on those networks do allow full function control.
On the channels that dont' allow you to pause (NBC/ABC), if you stop the show using the stop button and then when you want to start watching again, go into your recently watched list and you can resume it where you left off.
