FSC HD (Channel 584 in Putnam)

What happaned to FSC HD (Fox Soccer Channel HD (ch. 584)? All it has been playing is Mad About You reruns for the last couple of days....does anyone have an answer?

That channel was discontinued and has been replaced by FXX.   There was an announcement about it last month.

pdroth is correct, FOX Networks shut the Fox Soccer channel down and replaced it with FXX. Verizon had nothing to do with the decision.

Ditto on that -- just called and after a half hour hold they came back and said we might not be able to get Fox Soccer any more!  What's the deal?  I saw enough of Rob Lowe back in the 80s -- don't need any more of that.

Fox lost a lot of games to NBC Sports Network. Just about everything else that was on Fox Soccer will now be on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. Fox Soccer Plus remains the same.

I am actually surprised the channel still exists, they show very little soccer. Just checked the schedule a lot of Rugby, Austrailian football.
