When my contract is up I will be switching companies, I am disappointed in the service I receive. I was promised things that never went through by people on the phone that just seem to want to make you happy but then never do what they say they are going to do. I don't understand why the lower service packages have channels that I don't and now that I won't be getting fxx I am surely leaving this company.
I pay a decent amount of money for about 11 channels that I actually watch. I just wish they were up front with me from the beginning so I could have made other arrangements in time for always sunny premiering, but when I inquired about it like 20 times I was always given the run around or told they don't know yet.
I've tried to be a good sport but this is my last straw.

Not sure where you'll go where everything's perfect. Comcast and Time Warner appear to be carrying FXX in comparable packages to Extreme and above. I know one person who has Comcast digital starter and doesn't get FXX with it.

dish and the internet... its not so much the programming as it is the poor service I've been receiving. I shouldn't have to twist arms to find out basic info and I shouldn't constantly be lied to. FXX is just my last straw since I pretty much only have tv to watch always sunny so I'll just watch it online and get rid of Fios when my contract is up.

I completely agree. When my Time Warner contract was up about three months ago I decided to research other providers. I called Verizon FiOS and the lady asked me what me favorite TV shows and networks were. It’s always sunny, the league, and FX in general were in my top choices. Based on what I said, she concluded that PRIME HD was best for my household. Since the promotion they were offering was lower than what I was paying at Time Warner Cable, I decided to switch.
I will now be canceling my services because of FXX.
The packaging is done in a sneakily manner. When you talk to a Verizon rep on the phone, they say things like “you only have to pay $20 or $30 more each month and then you get HBO and Showtime--- that’s a great deal when you look at how much you’re paying now. it’s a very small percentage to pay for premium channels” Premium channels are NOT what I signed up for, and even if I’m only paying what they consider a small amount extra (over $300 a year) I don’t’ want to get tricked into something that I didn’t sign up for. It should be upfront when you sign up. I was told I would be getting FX and my favorite shows for the price I signed up for. There is no reason why FXX should be grouped with the premium channels, whether or not the price is comparable with TW. I’m glad I only chose the month to month option instead of the 2 year long contract. My biggest regret is paying over $100 for an installation fee.
My boyfriend and I are young professionals in our mid twenties. If this problem isn’t fixed before tonight’s premieres, VZN will be losing potentially life-long customers, and I’m sure we’re not the only ones.

I've replied elsewhere but will chime in here ... Verizon, please get this fixed and add FXX to the prime teir. There is no way it's fair to charge more for this.

I must admit i was surprised to see that FXX is only in extereme and ultimate packages,But i wonder if and when they move fxx out of the sports tier locationif they will then add it to the prime package? My guess is not yet because the baseball playoffs start next month and they may show some playoff game there?(just speculating). Personally i think verizon wont move the channel until after the world seriesis over if ever.

Even better, I pay for Ultimate HD and don't currently have FXX.
