Well, after hours and hours of searching for the best deals and reading satisfaction reviews - I choose Verizon (and was actually excited about it). And then.......
Well that's it. I have confirmed it. Guess Verizon doesn't offer services in Georgia. #(%&#
So hear I am back to the beginning, except this time - I am taking my post directly out to everyone.
Past/Present Verizon FiOS users: Anyone in Georgia know of any comparable TV bundles (NO DIRECTV, Not a fan of satellite cable). I am sure there is someone out there who moved to Georgia only to find that Verizon didn't offer services. Which company did you decide to go with and why?
Attn Verizon: If you should decide to come to the Great State of Georgia, please feel free to use me as your "tester". I would gladly provide you with my feedback and you will not have to pay me any "focus group fee". LOL
I'd recommend DISH, but since you'd prefer not to use satellite, that just leaves you with cable (probably stuck with Comcast).
One of our sons lives in Cumming, not too far from you. He has Dish; based on what I have seen I am not really very impressed, but he and his family love it. They also had Dish here in Texas before they moved. It looks like Comcast cable is available in Woodstock, so I would imagine you really only have three choices: Comcast, DirecTV, or Dish.
But my son does have Verizon cellphone service and provides my wife and me with our cellphones at no cost to us....
