Just curious as to how many use, or even know that they're there.
Kind of like an informal poll, if you will.
We like them and use them, but noticed the Twitter widget is not available anymore.
It used to be cool to watch a program and read the 'tweets' about the show, at times.
Anyone else care to discuss...
More importantly how to delete the ones we don't want cluttering up the page.
Never touch them. There are much faster - and much less buggy - ways to get the information offered by those widgets.

If you are referring to the ones in My Widgets, just open My Widgets, click on the widget and select remove.
If you are referring to the main menu, you can't remove them.

Since the OP wanted a poll, I'll give a hearty agreement to your post. If I didn't have a computer, some of them might be useful. But IMO, a computer makes widgets seem like something from the dark ages.
It'd be one thing if they were snappy, easily accessible and had accurate information. However, they are none of these things. I think it's a waste of resources to be honest. I may be wrong about this, but I think DirecTV did away with its widgets for those reasons. Or maybe they're considering it, I can't recall exactly.

I use the weather widget when I'm not logged into or computer or too lazy to grab my cell phone. All the other widgets appear to be a waste of time / resources.
Never use them...
We find the traffic and twitter ones nice to use when under time constraints but too bad
they did away with the twiiter one.
And yes, just a sort of informal poll.
