There is a USB port on the Set top box provided by verizon. Is it possible to hook my ipod to it and organize my music files? Also, if my internet and tv are coming through the same pipe can I not download music directly to my ipod?

how easy will it be to upgrade to a new box?will they give me a hard time if there is nothing wrong with my current box?
