FiOS mobile app shuts down when signing in due to upgrade request

When I sign in on my android smart phone, I'm prompted to update Verizon FiOS mobile. When I say yes to the update, it kicks me out with a message that an error has occurred, do I want to report it yes or no.

Have you tried going to Google Play to see if there is an update?

Just opened mine just fine.
