Fios Channel organization is IDIOTIC!

Why offer groupings of channels twice?  This seems crazy.  On my HD Receiver i want to see as much as I can in HD, however, if a channel doesn't broadcast in HD fine but I should not have to go through the standard side of the guide to look for different channels.  Just list ALL the channels once, if it comes in HD give it to me in HD, if not, don't.  OR list all the channels nex to one another so that I can see that it has a HD option or not.  I just switched from direct tv 2 weeks ago.  I'm starting to wish I could go back.

p.s.- If anyone has a work around for this issue, I would apprecite it.  Other than me filtering all the channels and placing them in a favorite list.

it is not idiotic... it is simply different from what you are used to.....

there is no other way to do what you are asing, other than doing what you already suggested...

or just press guide, and go straight to the 500's and scroll through only the HD's

I simply set up favorites to exclude SD channels that are duplicates of what I already have in HD.  The SD/HD channels won't be right next to each other like you're accustomed to seeing with DTV, but at least you'll know as you scroll through the SD channels that there is not an HD counterpart if you set up favorites in this manner.
