Does FIos offer special deals for Black Friday? (I am ready to sign up but thought I would wait to see if they offer special deals for Black friday.) Thank you
Perhaps you should post this on the ideas board. It is a lttle late, but better late than never. I will post.
Vote here.
New update. I think it may be to late for any type of promotion, but I did pass it around as much as I could. I have not heard of anything for Black Friday Specials.
I'd settle for some good "perks"!
I did post it on the ideas board, and also advocated for you, with a few Verizon Employees, but it was to late for anything from what I was told. But you never know what might pop up on the web site. I believe promotions are planned way in advance.
If you are a potential new customer, the deals are rather competitive with other providers, and I believe are much better than what existing customers are offered. It is like that with all providers.
If you are an existing customer and feel you need to save money and don't really want to give up services, you can contact the retention department through billing, and or sales to discuss your situation. But if you are in the middle of any type of agreement, there is probably not much that can be done. Unless you want to upgrade and are willing to make a commitment. They had been offering commitment free bundles to new customers, but if you are an existing customer willing to make a commitment, the retention department may make some adjustments for you if you are considering cutting back your level of service to save money for budget reason.
I found this number in a post that was from June 2009 and it may not be good. Retention Dept.1-877-500-9533
Just some ideas. I wanted to drop phone service when my agreement was up and was given a deal that I could not refuse. I like many, we have 4 cell phones and really thought about letting voice go. Verizon gets bashed at times for not being flexible, and I have found exactly the opposite it you talk to the right people.
Good luck with your deal searches. Being a long weekend for many, I believe it will be difficult to reach anyone, because most of those departments are open during regular business hours.
Have a nice Holiday
