So I 'm reading up on this cool Widget/App forget which that let's the Motorola Droid act as a TV remote for my Multi-Media DVR. I think wow cool.
Until I read further and find out it only works with HD TV.
I don't own an HD TV so why would I have a HD DVR box for extra money a month?
Seems a little unfair and silly to alienate half of your customer base.
Is there a version of this that'll work for those of us that don't have HD?

More than likely, if you have a DVR from Verizon, it is an HD-DVR.... there used to be some SD-DVRs (QIP 2708 i think) but they are no longer offered
So..... If your DVR is a QIP 6416 or a QIP 7216, you actually DO have an HD-DVR, and the feature should work just fine

So I don't actually have to subscribe to the HD service, it's just the hardware inside the box?
