Fios acting like Cable Companies

I just got this new email from verizon "YES HD National (channel 595) will no longer be available in the Prime HD package."  Looks like Verizon is doing the same underhanded thing as the Cable Co's are.   This after removing channels off the Prime Package just a few months ago.  Seems like Verizon just hired Cable Co. Execs to run Fios and they carried the method of cutting channels off the most popular package to get people to go to the more expensive package.  SHAME ON VERIZON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be prepared for this to continue. Yes, Verizon is quickly becoming Comcast. Wait until 2011 when they introduce the SUPER DUPER PHANTASMIGORICAL HD packege that cost more than Ultimate HD package and they move a whole bunch of channels to that tier. Honest to god if they just raised the rates a little and left the **bleep** channels alone I'd be happy. But these new tiers every year and taking channels away from existing tiers has got to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I first signed up for FiOS in 2008, I was happy as a pig in slop. But that happiness has been eroding steadily by Verizon's Comcast attitude about things it is adpoting. They keep treating existing customers like dog doo those customers are going to start going elsewhere.

they did the same to me, we signed a contract, half way through the contract they started taking all the good channels away, we called them and they said they can give us all the channels we had in the beginning ,but we would have to sign another contact for more money. then midway trough that contract they will probably take the channels away again and ask for more money to get them back. what a joke they have become. im switching back to my old cable company (time warner) at least they waited till the end of our contract to change stuff.
