So 18 months ago, they came through and lay fiber optic in our common areas.
They installed the junction boxes in the building basement. (garden style condos)
Still sales has no record of fios available at our address.
Building next to mine has it.
What gives!!!
either
1) Current building owner has not given permission.
2) Error in Verizon's Database.
You will probably have to have them send someone out to check.
Community association gave them permission (thats why they came out and tore up the common areas)
Yes, I believe its an error in the database. And here lies the catch 22.
I can't get anyone to check into it... because its not in the database.
I try explaining it to the service rep like this:
"Here is what probably happened, they came out and laid the wire and then either forgot to finalize the work order, or lost it. Can you please call engineering and have management follow up on the work that was performed in the 9400 block of fairfax blvd in the 22031 area code?"
The response I get is, "We don't have any way to get in touch with engineering"
