Why is there no fox HD channel, also channels 514 and 508 are unwatchable in the La Quinta, ca area.

What do you mean those channels are "unwatchable?"

I just pulled up the channel lineup for La Quinta. As far as I can tell, there is no channel 508. Channel 514 is NBC - KNBC HD.

But you're right, I don't see one for FOX KDFX-CA, which should be 508 (its SD is 008). I'm not sure why that is.

In general, Verizon's service area is concentrated in the northeast, especially around cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington. It's possible that FiOS is new in California and they haven't added that channel yet. Not sure.
