Fox News Channel 618 always behind when I turn on TV

When I turn my tv on in the morning to channel 618 I always have to fast forward it to get to the current programming.

When I turn my tv on in another room to channel 618 it will not let me fast forward and the timing is off so I can't get to the current program. They are both hooked to a dvr.

I can't envision what you are saying.  Are you saying they are both connected to one "DVR" or do you mean each is connected to a set-top box, which includes a DVRI sounds like you are set up to continuously record, yet I am unaware of such a thing.  Do you turn off the DVR at night.  Why not?
