I was told that FIOS broadcast fredericksburg city council meeting when i ordered fios. Yet, they are not broadcast on local programming channel 42. Try calling anyone at Verizon to see what they know about this and you get short ended. does fios broadcast this? and, if so on what channel and when?
Down here in Richmond, our City Council mandated that all public access channels that were on Comcast would also be on Verizon. Since our Verizon system is the same one that's in place in Chesterfield and Henrico, we get the public access channels for all three localities. With that said, check the City Council's video franchise bill online. If the local channels mandated on the bill are not there, notify the city clerk. That will get the situation corrected pretty quick.
well looking at your local channels listed. I'd guess that it would be on one of these channels
spotsylvania county government access 35
spotsylvania educational access 36
Fredricksburg educational access 1 41
Fredricksburg educational access 2 44
Fredricksburg government access 42
Fredricksburg Public Access 43
(looked up fredericksburg zip in google and then poped that into the channel lineup for Verizon)
One of these channels look like where that would be held. My guess would be channel 42 though.
