Free HBO as anniversary gift

I received an email from Verizon stating the following:

Happy Anniversary! We’d like to say thank you for being a loyal Verizon customer, so we are now including HBO® in your FiOS® TV programming package. There is no additional cost to you and no action is required.

Simply tune to channel 899 HD (400 SD) to start watching the best Hollywood movies and award-winning original programming. We will automatically remove it for you after 09/30/2015.

Please enjoy the best programming FiOS® has to offer, and let us know if you want to keep HBO.

However, when I try to watch HBO, my only options are to order or to get a free interactive preview.

I'm always wary of spam/spoofing emails, and I do know the difference between real or not, but this looks like a legit email. 

Has anyone else gotten this?

Probably typical attempt to get you to subscribe to HBO.  Give it to you for three months, and hope you subscribe or forget to cancel.  Probably you will be automatically subscribed if you forget to cancel.
