Why does an annual subscription based service refuse to offer value to thinking customers?

Thinking customers want information, not propaganda. FIOS1 and FIOS501 programming is alternately blatant propaganda or high school sports. 

Either remove 1 and 501 from the line up, or let me out of your insidious contract.

Fios is dumping Fios 1 news and French with it on Nov 1. Fios is contracting with Altice for News 12 to replace it.
