Really? How difficult can it be to get programming into On Demand in a somewhat timely manner? It's a travesty that popular primetime programs are over a month into new seasons and have yet to even have their first episode available. A very sad commentary when I have to visit friends who have Comcast to see episodes that I should have available from a premium service provider. Since I'm not under a contract commitment, I may have to rethink who my provider will be when I move into my new home in a few weeks.
Bstaab60, AMEN! I have been complaining about FIOS On Demand since last year when I came over from Comcast. My assumption is that Verizon hasn't made VOD a priority and therefore you can talk to Tech Support until "the cows come home" and nothing will change. They don't respond to messages left on this site either! I'm under contract but if I wasn't I would leave tomorrow!
Good Luck!
Even if FiOS offered more OnDemand and VOD content, their interface is very limited.
Think instead about a Roku 2 or Roku 3 box.
You get Netflix, Amazon Instant Streaming, VUDU, Hulu Plus and many other streaming media choices. I am much happier with these apps and the small monthly fee for some and the good prices for renting or buying content.
they're good for speed, picture and telephone communications but as for entertainment function.. nowhere near the competition.
Right there with you. Two Friday nights in a row we have attempted to watch a pay movie on demand and both times the network has caused the movie to stop. I'm done!!!!
