But for some reason only 1 game is in HD tonight? I have audio for the other 4 channels but no video. What gives?

If you are watching the games on the free preview, it appears that only one HD channel is activated for free. The same thing was done in the spring when the new HD channels on the MLB package were launched. All of the HD channels were shown for the mid-season free preview however. I guess all ths is (and was) to work out any lingering engineering issues.

Hmm... unfortunately, I have already purchased League Pass so I don't think this would apply to me. I am getting all of the SD games on the SD channels and 1 HD game tonight, but the other 4 HD channels are only audio, no video. Seems like maybe a technical error or something.

If you're paying for the channels, definitely call Verizon. The troubleshooting codes on the screen might help, it's worth a try before sitting on hold.

When they did this last year for the additional NHL/MLB HD channels, subscribers to Center Ice/Extra Innings were able to replace their 6000 series STB's with 7000 series STBs. The new channels were MPEG4, and the 6000 boxes can not display MPEG4.
So, if you have a 6000 series STB, it is time to request a change.
p.s. I don't know if that is the case for NBA but I would assume it is. I will check here in a few.
