What do the different colors in the guide and the display mean?

While viewing the Guide, hit the Left Arrow (around the OK button) on the remote, then scroll down on the pop-up window to Guide Legend (hidden to start with), then hit OK. You will then see an explanation of the icons and color codes.

Note that the colors will be changing in 1.9+.  And unless someone doing the new testing  of the new revised 1.9 wants to tell us, we are not even sure what the new colors will be.

Not sure why you feel that will be an issue. I imagine Verizon will have a similar function in 1.9 as they have today in 1.8 documenting what the various colors mean. Or did I misunderstand your comment?
