How to set up HD channel default? for example if I press 4 the set top box would tune to 504.

This currently works on Quantum boxes.

Menu/settings/system/television/Auto Tune to HD Channels/ON

It was supposively added to most of the other boxes in 1.9.7.

Thank you, good information.

I can add that the same is true in the setup for the FIOS One TV equipment as well. Setting up mine today.
