My tv signal on the HD box looked very blurry. I have a brand new LG 4K TV. The tech support rep suggested that I get the new Fios one box. Now, the signal looks a little better, but very compressed. What’s the point of a 4k box if the Fios signal is so compressed that it makes HD signals look like SD. I imagine that Fios does that to fit more channels on the wire, so how in the world can they support 4k, when that takes even more bandwidth. Over the air channels look 10 times better.
What resolution is your fios box set up for? Check in the video settings and try 1080, then try 2160 and see which looks better. Also make sure you are looking at channels above 500, everything else is SD.
