Since FIOS was installed in my subdivision, I have been using DCT700s provided by Verizon to watch TV on a couple of my computers when my grandchildren commandeer the HD TV. A couple of months ago both systems failed to operate displaying pulsating audio and lacking sync on the analog TV cards. Since then I have tried all three computers with TV cards (different types) with both DCT700s, reset the ONT and router, removed and added splitters, checked connections etc, all with NO effect. The symptoms remain the same in any combination. The only conclusion I can come to is that Verizon has disabled the DCT700s. Is this correct? If so how can I have them restored to service?
No the DCTs are not discontinued. My Grandmother has two in her house. You might have another issue with your ONT. First step would be to call Verizon and they can send out a tech if needed.
