Heroes and Icons Channel in NY

Over the New Year the Heroes and Icons channel (19) went off the air on Fios - there is a message saying content provider is not providing programming. WZME, the content provider from Bridgeport CT, is apparently off the air. However, WWOR-NY broadcasts the Heroes and Icons channel on their digital subchannel 9.4. Will you be switching channel 19 to this channel? Considering it is a broadcast channel in NY you should be carrying it, anyway, I would think. Please get the H&I programming back as soon as possible.

Verizon doesn't answer to these requests.

You may try and contact the station to see if they are working to get it carried.

I agree completely especially as they now carry the Untouchables.

I've been talking to H&I on Twitter. They had said they should be back by January 30th, but that didn't happen and now they have no date.

Why did we lose this great channel?

Verizon needs to fix a few things, because really they were great and now they are not so great. 😞

From previous posts, it went away because the original provider dropped the content.

Now Verizon has to negotiate with the new provider to carry that channel.
