How Do I stop shows from recording on both DVRs?

I have two HD DVRs - not multi room ones. Since replacing DVR 2, anything scheduled on DVR 1, also records on DVR 2.  Recordings scheduled on DVR 2, however, do not record on DVR 1.  The duplicate recordings have to be deleted from both DVRs independent of each other.  I don't know why DVR 2 is recording the schedule from DVR 1.  They are not multi room DVRs.  How do I stop this?

When you set up the new DVR did you accidentally choose to import your scheduled recordings? I recently set up another DVR and was prompted to do that, but I declined the request.
