How can I turn off sleep mode?

My MIL just had Fios installed. Both of her tv's go into sleep mode, a Verizon screen saver appears. She doesn't understand how to get it out of sleep mode so she thinks it's broken. She needs the tv on to help her sleep, so I really need to fix this. I googled and tried all the settings and couldn't find a way to turn it off. 

Please tell me someone can walk me through turning this feature off, please!

I leave my SET TOP BOX ON all the time. Make sure that IT is set up for "NEVER"  turn it OFF.

The sleep timer is set up and controlled from your TV.

If you do the 2  above it should solve your problem.

What model stb do you have?

There should be a menu option to disable auto power off.

This is what I did to get rid of the banner: menu/settings/ TV/my FiOS TV tray/disable.  I shut the TV off and tested it and it worked. (Before this I could turn the TV off to test and the banner would still show up.) Let me know if it works for you.
