How to Remove TV Screen Saver?

hi i just recently got service how do you remove the screen saver that's on my tv when i cut it off. i didn't realize it when service set up was being done.  when i cut my tv off i don't want to see anything.

You shouldn't be able to see anything when the TV is off. If you only turn the box off you get the grey press ok to watch Fios screen, no way to get rid of that, but if the TV is off, there shouldn't be a picture at all from ANY source.
