I have a 2nd HD box for my computer. I am able to connect the HDMI cable directly to the monitor to watch with no problem. Is there a way for me to watch HD through Windows Media Center? I have an AverTV Hybrid Volar Max, but that only works as an analog input, giving me an SD signal in MCE.
Is this something that can be solved with a different piece of hardware for the PC, or is there a software or setup solution?

I do not think any video capture cards (required to view video on a PC) work with HDMI due to copy restrictions (but I couldbe wrong). You wouod need a card with a component input. I think Hauppage has one.
