I Cannot Watch Showtime Using The App

Hi,

So I have Fios HD Prime which includes Showtime for free.

I am trying to use showtime's website, which I am linked to directly from Verizon's website when I go to "Channels." I follow the link to my shows and when asked to choose a providers and sign in to prove that I have service to this channel, I am told I don't!

I thought this was the only channel but no! I also have this issue with any channel such as A&E Original. Everytime I sign in to verify my account to show I A&E service, it says I don't.

This is not a issue with the channels, it is with verizon. I tried calling tech support and was on hold for an hour and I hung up.

I need someone to fix this!

MAY BE the way the authentication is done.  I had to turn off a bunch of options, normally recommended for securtiy.  Third party cookies are needed and you can not set options such as IE's "delete browsing History on exit"  Latest flash must be allowed and allowed to use memory.

They way I think this thing works is the showtime app calls the verizon site which launches FLASH and saves the authorization in Flash's "cache" and then exits backs to the showtime site which then looks for the authorization in Flash's cache.

Before you start messing with your computer, you might want to call customer service and verify your service. Showtime comes free with Ultimate. You can also what you are subscribed to under My services when logged into your account.
