I can’t pause live TV from my DVR box.

I used to be able to. Now it doesn’t work. I read a previous thread on this topic but It never got resolved.

I read a few more threads. I switched remotes. The light is registering on the box and I am hitting the bottom portion of the play/pause button. I also manually reset my box. No results. I also switched to several different channels to make sure the content I wanted to pause wasn’t blocked from pausing for some reason.
