ID Go activation

I recently got a Roku, and immediately opened the ID Go channel (ID is my main TV channel.) I got an activation code, but when I would enter it into my Firefox browswer, ID Go would ask me to select my provider. When I clicked on Verizon FIOS, the page would just sit there with a spinning icon ... forever.
After 2 hrs of frustration and searching the Internet, I found a post that suggested switching browsers. So, with nothing else to try, I switched to Chrome, and it immediately activated!
