I want to use my own router and this morning Verizon mentioned that I can use the wan port to connect my router. It does not appear that it is working. Anyone know how to set it up? Is this port blocked by Verizon so you cannot use your own router? Thanks
Not sure what you mean?
What are you trying to do?
Do you have Verizon TV service?
I would assume so seeing as how you are asking about IPC.
It can work over the LAN port as long as it and your VMS can communicate back and forth through the same network on your router. I believe the VMS still only works over COAX (MOCA). So vms-moca-router-ethernet-IPC.
