Inappropriate TV ads

So, we are vegetarians and I noticed that for the past 3 months we are being bombarded by all types of meat advertisements - restaurants for seafood, steak and everything meat-related. Is there a way to simply express our desire not to be subject to this constant barrage of meat advertising? They are not about to have converts and it actually puts us off.

Verizon controls very few of the ads (they get a small number of local ads to insert at times).

Your best bet is to contact the networks you watch most often and express your desires to them.
