Irritated - FiOS Channel 1 crawler during Nats games

Since we're not valued enough as customers, Verizon continues to abuse us with their crawler blocking the graphics provided by MASN2 on channel 1. It's bad enough we Nats fans (and O's fans too) are forced to settle for SD baseball game programming when both MASN- and MASN2-HD channels are available to you from MASN network.

Verizon, please be responsible with your self-serving advertising and monitor your low-quality, SD TV programming. Better yet, bring MASN2-HD programming to all your customers.

Must be a local thing.  I've been watching the entire game on Ch 1 out of Delaware and haven't seen a crawler on the screen.

There's never been any scrolling ads in Richmond either. Are you in an area where MASN2 is on FiOS1? We don't have FiOS1, so channel 1 just shows ESPNEWS when there's no game on. Is it a Verizon ad scrolling? It sounds like it's added by the vendor who produces the FiOS1 channel. If that's the case, they just need to cut that out when there's a live game on.
