Irritating repetitive targeted TV Ads

Someone has decided I don't like beer but should take various anti-depressants.  All this may be true but the beer ads are at least humorous.   So, how do I screw up all the data that is being collected on me so that they stop targeting the irritating ads at me and send me ones promising alcoholic bliss?

If it is not TV related, then Verizon has no control over the ads you see.

If TV related, Verizon only controls those that are inserted for local businesses.
