I have issues with Rezone. The picture is terrible and unwatchable. I called for verizon support but they are no help at all. They say it may due to cabling issues. In order to fix this, they would need to charge me to come fix these cabling issues. Verizon did the setup with all the cables. Why am I responsible for their mistakes or fauly cable wiring? Has anyone else experienced this issue? I am in between canceling redzone altogether or just trying to fix it myself.
The coaxial cable in the house was mostly likely in place before FiOS was installed. So yes that would be billable.
I guess the easiest way to rule out cabling would be running a temporary piece of coax to the ONT. If that clears it up the trouble then you know it is the cable.
If it doesn’t clear it up then it would be Verizon’s issue and that would be no charge to you.
