Jittery, frozen, black, and everything else tv

Before upgrading to the new Fios cable boxes everything was fine.  These new smaller boxes are nothing but a huge headache.  There isn't a tv in the house that has terrible reception.  The picture is fine for maybe an hour then it freezes, breaks up, goes black or the **bleep** box decides to just freeze.  I can't even tell you how many times I've had to unplug and restart any of the 6 boxes I have.  If it happened once or twice, ok, but this is every day.  I'm tired of unplugging all cables, reconnecting and waiting for the box that happens to be acting up to restart.  Last night the box wouldn't get past the Verizon screen. Not sure where verizon got these boxes from but they are a black eye to an otherwise excellent service.  I go to my Mom's house and the picture is perfect-she has the old Verizon boxes.

I am so regretting renewing my contract with Verizon.  I have always been a huge fan of their service but this is ridiculous.  I called to see if there was any way to get the old boxes back and was told no. When I asked why, I was told that the boxes I have are the newer ones that are replacing all the bigger boxes. I am now seriously looking at going back to Cablevision, that's how desparate I am.  Everyone in the house is complaining.  Verizon is not providing the service they claim and as far as I'm concerned are in breach of contract.  I want out, without it costing me a dime, I'm done.  I've kept up my end-I pay for tv, internet and phone service, even though it is horrible.  Verizon is not cheap and it's customers deserve better!!! I deserve better than what I'm getting.

The newer quantum boxes require a better signal. If you have problems even with your VMS, I would start checking the coax connections at your not. Make sure they are tight. Could also be the splitter.
