Just got the 500GB set top DVR

We were having some problems with the old STB and was pleasantly surprised to
have them give us the 500GB replacement DVR. It worked great with no startup issues
at all. Good work Verizon...keep on doing what you've been doing!

Did you get it for free or did you have to pay the $40? I can't believe they want to charge me $40 to get what I should have gotten in the first place?
