Keep WTVR CBS 6 in your cable lineup. This channel has the most watched shows on TV. Don't let the contract expire on 12/31/12!
CBS should let verizon carry thier station free. They are doing them a favor in a way. Ever heard of advertising? Besides its free off the air,
. Why should we have to pay CBS '
do not remove cbs channel 6, I watch it every day
If you drop WTVR, I will change providers!
I will cancel my verizon phone, tv & internet service & choose another company if they take away WTVR 6. I watch this channel almost totally.
Crisis averted- wtvr.com/keep-wtvr/
The two sides came to an agreement just a couple hours before the deadline. Imagine that...
Almost as exciting as the fiscal cliff, isn't it?
I think this is the season for negotiating new carriage agreements. It's happening everywhere, and it's not limited to Verizon. We don't have any local disputes in my home market, but our competing cable provider is threatening to pull the plug on our NBC affiliate at midnight.
It's not worth moving to another carrier, due to these threats. The carrier that you move to, will go through this same thing with some other channel/network at some point. It happens on cable, it happens on satellite, and sadly for us subscribers, it even happens on fiber. It's a never-ending game. Tune in next year, for the next threat. 🙂
Hope everything else is OK in Richmond...lived there for 10 years before coming to Florida.
