Current FiOs configuration:
1 x DVR in living room
2 x STBs one in each of two bedrooms
1 x Wireless Router
I just installed a TiVO Bolt in the living room (M-Card) with a mini in the master bedroom. I removed the DVR and the STB in one of the bedrooms. The other STB is working but gives me an error message and advises that channel availability is limited. It looks as though the STB is looking for the DVR to be there. Most of my subscription channels are gone i.e HBO, Showtime etc. I do eventually plan to replace the other STB with another TiVo mini. In the interim, what can I do to get these channels restored on the one STB in the guest bedroom? Thanks.
Sounds like you have Quantum boxes. vms1100 and ipc1100. If so the little boxes (ipc11000) pair and work from the main (vms1100) box. Without the vms connected there are no tuners connected. At that point the IPC will get some limited channels via your Internet connection. Switch the connected box with the vms box and you will get all of your channels. If you do not want the recording feature, call customer service and have it removed.

Sounds like he HAD Quantum boxes. Needs another mini or to leave the VMS box (at obviously higher cost).
Thanks for the response. You are correct. Since I purchased a TiVo Bolt and one mini, I'm just returning all of the Verizon boxes and I'll just get another mini for the other bedroom. Thanks for your help.
