Local TV/ClearQAM no longer working, but internet is

I have been subscribed to the basic "Local TV" package from Verizon for 3 years now, which means my cable goes directly from my ONT to my TVs which all have digital QAM tuners. Up until last night everything has been fine, however now all of the TVs say "no signal". I have not touched any of the cable, and the split that is going to my modem for internet is still working fine. I've tried rescanning (thinking maybe the mappings changed) but there are no channels found.

I spent hours on the phone with tech support last night with a tech that clearly had no idea what QAM was or that you could have TV without a digital box. He eventually "escalated" the case (I have the reference #) and sent me on my way with nothing solved.

Is there any way I can speak to a tech who knows what they're talking about? I'm unable to receive TV for 2 days now. These forums seem to have people who understand unencrypted ClearQAM, so I'm hoping they see this. It's like my TV signal has been disconnected but internet hasn't, but Customer Support says it's still active.

If anyone stumbles across this is the future, my ONT wound up being bad. A Verizon tech came over and determined there was indeed no video RF signal coming through the ONT. He said when they go bad it's always the video signal first. This was actually the second one of the day with the same issue. He replaced it and it's all good.

Have you checked your ont to see if there are any alarms?

If none, try power reset of ont.

Also have you had your TV rescan for channels.  THey do move them around occasionally.

Hi violinbuck,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name located above your post, or at the top right of this page.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see any alarms, and I did try resetting the ONT.
