Verizon, I don’t care what company you deal with but I do care about the quality of the local weather information you provide. Your current product the Weather Bug is useless. Our area is surrounded on three sides by water, so we need a moving radar screen to see which way the storms are moving and how fast or slow they are moving. I am quite disappointed with this product. Yes, I could get this on my phone, but then I would have to pay you $30 more a month on my phone bill for internet service, which I do not want.
FYI, you're talking to other customers here.
If you have a smart phone, you can connect it to your FiOS WiFi network when home. The Weather Channel's smart phone app has lots of useful information and works fine over WiFi. There are lots of other weather apps, too.
Without cellular data, you can only access the network when you have WiFi available. You'll be covered at home, just like when you have access to FiOS TV.
Good Luck.
