Been searching for a while this morning and cannot find anything on the subject, but I am looking to see if anyone may know if/when FIOS may roll out in Central PA...
Franklin, Adams, Cumberland, etc...
Hello,
I happen to have cut out an article from the Patriot News that talked about Fios around the Harrisburg area. It does not talk about Adams or Franklin counties, but it did have information for Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York:
Cumberland County: New Cumberland; Upper Allen Twp.; Hampden Twp.; Lemoyne; Camp Hill; Lower Allen Twp.; Shiremanstown; Wormleysburg; East Pennsboro Twp.; Mechanicsburg; Silver Spring Twp.; Monroe Twp.; Middlesex Twp.
Dauphin County: Lower Paxton Twp.; Royalton; Conewago Twp.; Swatara Twp.; Penbrook; South Hanover Twp.; Derry Twp. (Hershey); Middletown; Lower Swatara Twp.; Susquehanna Twp.; Hummelstown; West Hanover; Steelton; Paxtang; Highspire; Londonberry Twp.;
Lebanon County: North Londonberry Twp.; Palmyra; South Londonberry Twp.
York County: Carroll Twp.; Dillsburg; Fairview Twp.; Monaghan Twp.
I can't say for sure if Fios is available in each of these towns now or if these areas are where Verizon is looking to move into, but this is a list that was in the Patriot News. The easiest thing to do would be to go on the website and type in the address of where you live or, if you are moving, the address of where you are moving and it will tell you if service is available, but this list will at least give you an idea. Hope it helps.
