I have seen that other TV providers are offering a free preview for MLB Extra Inning from July 19-25. WIll Fios be offering this? I have not seen anything about it.

Yes, it is on. It appears though to only be the SD feeds, not HD.
HD channels worked fine for me.
I am not getting the HD channels either. What do you do to get those?
I did notice a disclaimer that HD is not available in all areas. That's really not good if you are trying to sell a package and then not have every available option available. Anyway I wasn't going to subscribe anyway. I subscribe to MLBTV which is a much better value. It's only $125 for the entire season. You get both teams broadcast and the option of listening to the radio overlay to the games. Lots of other options too you can't get with this package.
The free preview is over and I really was not impressed by the Fios version of EI. None of the games were made available in HD. Only a handful of games had both teams broadcast. I assume they don't won't to make the bandwidth available for both teams broadcast. Last night I set my DVR to record the Reds/Dodgers late game and it only recorded an hour and nineteen minutes of it. I don't what happened for sure but I suspect Fios cutoff the free preview at that point even though the last game of the night had not concluded. Anyway, I'm glad I can get MLBTV and not have to worry about the overpriced version of EI through Fios.
