MLB Extra Innings SD Quality is HORRIBLE

The SD picture offered for the MLB Extra Innings games is truly awful -- I can't even watch them it's so bad. Do other people have the same issue? Thanks for the help!

The SD quality is truly retched. I wouldn't have signed up, if I had known how bad it would be. I had actually assumed it was all in HD at this point. But not even close.
I would like to know the bitrate MLB In Demand is coming in at - I know it is possible to determine bandwidth dedicated to certain channels. Has anyone done this?
