Compared to the MLB Extra Innings that I subscribed to with DirecTV the Verizon offering leaves much to be desired:
* No pre or post game shows
* No regional sports channels e.g. New England Sports Channel (NESN)
* Confusing MLB channel line-up (Channel 2,3 etc). These are local channels.
I am seriously considering transferring back to DirecTV.
And what about the SD picture quality? I find it abysmal.

Unfortunately, VZ receives MLB EI from In Demand, as does any other cable company in the USA.
DirecTV is the only one that can offer what they do - b/c they are already carrying all of the local RSN's.
