I subscribe to MLS Direct Kick. For the past two seasons, New York Red Bull matches are blacked out in the Philadelphia and Delaware areas (VHO8).
This makes no sense. Philadelphia has it's own team, and DC United games are not blacked out either. Please have this issue corrected.
I apologize for your inconvenience with this, but we do not make the decision to black out game. We receive a list of games that must be blacked out in certain regions. Should it be Verizons decision, we would not black out any games and allow full access to our feeds. You can contact the content owner as to the decision to black out in different areas.
Use the Sports Blackout Lookup Tool
Does it show them blacked out, and does it show them on an alternate channel?
I have seen this numerous times in the NHL package as well. Verizon always says the same thing. They do not control it. However my friends who subscribe to the NHL package via DirecTV or Time Warner in the same town do NOT have the particular game blacked out. I am the only one blacked out on Fios. I missed many games this season and am dissapointed.
They keep telling me to use the lookup tool and the tool always says "No Blackout information for your zip code"
Good luck, I for one am going back to DirecTV as soon as my contract is done. I never missed a game there and I also get all HD games unlike Verizon.
This was the worse TV mistake I have made to date.
