Yes. When MSG HD was announced, Verizon said the plan was to have MSG 2 HD added mid-2012.
Don't forget about MSG Plus2 HD. Sometimes they show 3 or 4 different sporting events at the same time so it would be nice to get all 4 MSG channels in HD. So MSG2 HD and MSG Plus2 HD would be nice.
Did Verizon ever add MSG Plus 2 HD on channel 581? There's no probably no NHL hockey in the near future, but MSG is starting to use the channel this weekend, maybe to test it out for affiliates. Kansas at Oklahoma is scheduled for 7PM tonight.
Nope. I'm just happy we have 578 -MSG HD, 579-MSG2-HD and 580-MSG+HD. I'm not a hockey fan but like the College Football games on MSG. I don't ever recall MSG+2 having a unique football game.
It would be nice if all extra/alternate sports channels were in HD like BTN Alternates (330, 331), FCS (300, 301, 302), BYU (290) and MSG+2 (81).
Wondering what happened with the FIOS MSG feeds tonight ...
NHL opening night, and MSG were carrying the Rangers, Islanders and Devils. Some how, the Rangers were on MSG HD and MSG2 HD, and the Islanders on MSG+ HD, leaving the devils on MSG+2 std def (channel 81). What's up with this? I see that MSG Networks provided an HD feed of MSG Plus2 for several cable channels, so I assume this is a Verizon decision?
Watching hockey in SD on a big TV really sucks!
Come on Verizon! Offer msg+2 already! I dont want to watch the Rangers feed all season, im a Devils fan!!!
Nothing yet? Verizon fought hard for the HD feeds of MSG games, and now they're dragging their feet by not adding the final channel. MSG HD and MSG+ HD were turned on the next day after the court ruled. What is taking so long with MSG+2 HD?
